As if plucked from the Southwest desert, this expansive North Glendora residence contrasts wonderfully with a balance of plantings from the arid drylands of Arizona and Africa. Tree aloes dot the native landscape as smaller more delicate succulents anchor themselves in porous fissures of hand-placed boulders. Mesquite trees reach skyward unfolding delicate leaves to the open air capturing cool air lifting off the babbling brook below. Garden paths lace through a citrus orchard, near a custom bocce court, drawing visitors to a grassy expanse and zero edge pool.
